Brunel Pension Partnership is one of eight UK Local Government Pension Scheme Pools, bringing together more than £35 billion of investments of ten likeminded funds: Avon, Buckinghamshire, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, the Environment Agency, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Somerset and Wiltshire
Brunel intends to offer to its clients around 25 “portfolios” to implement their investment strategy. These include: 7 passive equity and bond portfolios, 7 active equity portfolios, 5 private market portfolios, 3 fixed interest portfolios, 2 liquid alternatives. Each portfolio is outcome based and intended to offer exposure to a particular asset class or sub class, or particular theme or approach. Implementation of the portfolios will be outsourced to selected asset managers – with between one and five managers per portfolio.
