Through case studies, this event examined how investors can build robust portfolios to meet changing investment regimes and what the role of alternatives might be as the 60:40 portfolio dwindles as a viable portfolio construction premise. It looked at how investors incorporate mega themes driving their portfolios including renewables and net zero ambitions, geopolitics and China, technology, healthcare and demographics.

Importantly it challenged investors to think about what needs to change, and hasn’t yet, and how the crisis can be a catalyst for new and improved business practices and investment allocations.
