The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) is a federal statutory body under the purview of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and is mandated to manage the retirement savings of the Malaysian workforce in accordance with the Employees Provident Fund Act 1991. Established in 1951, EPF is one of the world’s oldest provident funds and helps the Malaysian workforce to save for their retirement.
