Rob Roy

Rob Roy is senior vice president, chief investment officer, and co-head of environmental sustainability for AdventHealth. In this role, he oversees investments for one of the nation’s largest faith-based health systems, which includes operating capital and employee retirement portfolios totalling approximately $20 billion. He is also co-leading a transformation of AdventHealth's operating business's environmental footprint. Roy has more than 35 years of institutional investment experience, oversees a 13-person investment team that manages over half of the organisation’s operating capital internally. He has dedicated more than 20 years to supporting AdventHealth’s mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ. During that time, he has played a lead role in developing the organisation’s investment philosophy and process which were crafted to reinforce its core values and principles. Roy earned a PhD in finance from the University of London, a Master’s Degree in Sustainability from Harvard University, a Master’s Degree in Financial Markets and Trading from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and bachelor’s degrees in finance from Suffolk University, and applied mathematics from Southern New Hampshire University.
