Majdi Chammas

Majdi Chammas works as head of procurement and product strategy at the Swedish Fund Selection Agency (Fondtorgsnämnden), where he focuses on fund procurement and the selection process for Sweden’s premium pension platform. Before joining the agency, he spent more than 20 years at Första AP-fonden (AP1), one of Sweden’s national pension funds, where he worked with external fund manager selection and evaluation. Throughout his career, he has been involved in developing investment strategies and improving fund selection processes. In addition to his role at the agency, Chammas has served as an expert to the Swedish government, contributing insights on fund selection and investment management. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
