Emirates Investment Authority

Emirates Investment Authority (EIA) is located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and was established on November 13, 2007, by Emiri decree. EIA is the first sovereign wealth fund for all the states that comprise the United Arab Emirates. These states are Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain. EIA is responsible for the future stewardship of federal government stakes. The EIA deploys capital strategically and invests in assets across sectors and geographies with a goal of creating long-term value. It boasts a highly diversified portfolio that is truly global that is managed by a team of investment specialists and analysts. Additionally, investment professionals at the EIA work with their invested companies to support each company’s growth, improve performance, and to protect and enhance value. The funds for EIA are allocated to the organization by the federal government.
