Emirates Investment Authority (EIA) is located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and was established on November 13, 2007, by Emiri decree. EIA is the first sovereign wealth fund for all the states that comprise the United Arab Emirates. These states are Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain. EIA is responsible for the future stewardship of federal government stakes.
